Work of Heart Portraits

Illustration

Ayala Malls UpTown Center - a local chain of shopping malls - launched the Work of Heart campaign, a fund-raising effort to aid the medical professionals in the Philippines during the COVID pandemic.

*Breaks stiff professional voice for 2 seconds.*
I'm always open to pro-bono projects (as long as my schedule allows it.) If you do CSR and you're looking for an illustrator/designer for a one-time project,

Project Background

Project Kaagapay

Ayala Malls Up Town Center reached out to a couple of local artists to raise a pool of donations through commissioned portraits. All the in-cash donations went to Project Kaagapay, a private-sector funded initiative to aid frontline health workers during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The project ran for two weeks and raised a total of P33,400 for medical workers. Project Kaagapay raised a total of P92M providing equipment to a total of 70 hospitals.

Special thanks to Maxine Arcebal and the rest of the Ayala Malls' Uptown Center team for putting together the initiative.

Thank you also to everyone who donated and had their portraits done!
